Delivery Driver

Role Overview

At GSF Car Parts, Delivery Drivers play a vital role in representing the company by delivering car parts promptly and providing excellent customer interactions. They contribute crucial feedback from customers and ensure deliveries are made within promised timeframes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers within a 40-mile radius of the branch location.
• Maintain a consistently high level of customer service during every delivery.
• Communicate relevant customer insights and competitor activity back to the branch team.
• Load vehicles in strict adherence to company loading procedures.
• Collect customer product returns as needed.
• Conduct daily maintenance checks on delivery vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
• Assist in warehouse tasks when required to support operations.
• Help with deliveries between branches on an occasional basis.

Working Hours

Average of 41 hours per week, Monday through Friday, including alternate Saturdays.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a valid UK full driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Strong familiarity with the area within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
• Proven background in a delivery driver role.
• Commitment to outstanding customer service standards.
• Ability to meet deadlines punctually and manage time effectively.
• Customer-focused, motivated to meet targets and willing to go above and beyond.
