Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair the hotel's water supply, sewage, drainage, and associated plumbing infrastructures.
• Address plumbing problems such as leaks, blockages, and pressure issues swiftly and effectively.
• Perform preventive maintenance on various plumbing equipment including pipes, valves, pumps, water heaters, toilets, showers, and sinks.
• Conduct systematic inspections to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
• Respond promptly to plumbing service requests in guest rooms, public spaces, kitchens, staff areas, and back-of-house zones.
• Maintain and repair bathroom fixtures, faucets, mixers, flush valves, and related fittings.
• Provide support to the Engineering department during hotel renovations, maintenance projects, and new system installations.
• Monitor and report the status of water tanks, pumps, and plumbing systems to supervisors.
• Ensure effective drainage and wastewater management throughout the property.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Stewarding, and other departments to resolve plumbing issues.
• Manage inventory of plumbing tools, spare parts, and materials and communicate procurement needs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, preventive maintenance schedules, and relevant regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance work and repairs conducted.
• Keep work areas clean and safe following task completion.
• Assist during emergency plumbing incidents such as pipe bursts, leaks, or flooding.
• Undertake additional duties as directed by the Engineering Supervisor or Chief Engineer.
