About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and seasoned QA Automation Engineer to enhance our team. The perfect candidate will possess extensive experience in both regression and production testing, utilizing automation techniques predominantly with Playwright and TypeScript. The scope of this role includes API testing, front-end validation, and assuring top-notch software releases across all environments. Familiarity with Angular frameworks will be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and uphold automated testing scripts utilizing Playwright with TypeScript.
• Develop and manage automated tests employing Selenium with Java.
• Carry out thorough regression and production tests surrounding release cycles.
• Conduct both execution and automation of API testing.
• Perform front-end tests to verify user interface functionality, usability, and responsiveness.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps to define testing needs.
• Detect, record, and monitor defects until resolution.
• Engage in integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Guarantee comprehensive test coverage, reliability, and application performance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Over 6 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
• Proven practical expertise using Playwright for test automation purposes.
• Strong command of TypeScript programming.
• Hands-on experience in testing RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge and practical experience with AI testing technologies such as MCP, RAG/LLM, and Agentic AI.
• Thorough understanding of regression testing strategies and production validation workflows.
• Competence in front-end testing approaches.
• Comfortable with version control tools, including Git.
• Sound knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile practices.
