About The Opportunity
Join a significant, well-established enterprise managing a complex hybrid IT environment. Lead and develop core platforms spanning Azure, on-premises infrastructure, Microsoft 365, and identity management. This role demands a leader capable of uniting two teams to support the hybrid cloud strategy, emphasizing DevOps practices and Azure platform expertise. Collaborate with information security, architectural groups, and service delivery teams to enhance operational excellence. Balance between strategic advancements and hands-on involvement in major incidents and complex platform challenges.
Qualifications and Experience
- Leadership experience unifying IT Infrastructure and DevOps teams.
- Comprehensive background in hybrid platforms, including Azure, networking, compute, storage, Microsoft 365, and identity access management.
- Strong understanding of modern engineering methodologies such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), automation, and system observability.
- Track record of enhancing service reliability through incident, problem, and change management, disaster recovery preparedness, monitoring, and developing runbooks.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to set standards, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities effectively.
