Job description

Position Overview

We are looking for a Platform Product Manager to lead the Digital Workflows team focused on ServiceNOW. This role centers on establishing the vision, strategy, and a multi-year plan to enhance workflow platform capabilities and services. You will collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, design, data teams, and business units to create scalable, reusable solutions within a highly regulated environment. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle including discovery, prioritization, implementation, user adoption, and ongoing refinement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a long-term roadmap for enterprise identity platform capabilities and services.
  • Translate strategic objectives into detailed product requirements, user stories, and prioritized development backlogs.
  • Lead customer and stakeholder discovery sessions to deeply understand needs and validate product direction.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on factors like business value, customer impact, risk mitigation, reusability, feasibility, and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, design, and data teams to deliver scalable services and APIs.
  • Define and enforce platform standards, integration patterns, onboarding procedures, and operating models.
  • Drive the creation of reusable solutions that reduce one-off fixes and scale across multiple teams and user journeys.
  • Promote platform capabilities adoption across channels and assist in enablement activities as needed.
  • Partner with risk, compliance, legal, cybersecurity, and privacy teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and control standards.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, leveraging insights to continuously improve offerings.
  • Effectively communicate priorities, trade-offs, risks, progress, and strategy to senior and executive leadership.
  • When necessary, design detailed implementation plans for product launches or changes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven extensive experience in product management or equivalent roles in technology/product delivery.
  • Track record of successfully launching and scaling technology products, platform services, or significant features.
  • Expertise in defining product strategies, building multi-year roadmaps, and executing comprehensive plans.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise platform concepts, modern architectures including APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure, data management, and integration patterns.
  • Capability to design scalable, reusable enterprise solutions focused on capability-based delivery.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with proficiency in managing ambiguity.
  • Robust stakeholder management skills and ability to influence effectively across a matrixed organization.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and oral, including high-level storytelling and presentations suited for executive audiences.
  • In-depth understanding of risk management, controls, security, privacy, resilience, and regulatory compliance requirements within regulated environments.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience leveraging AI capabilities in product management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNOW or similar workflow technologies.
  • Knowledge of implementing AI features within products.
  • Background in platform product management in banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated sectors.
  • Evaluation experience for third-party technology providers including build-versus-buy strategies.
  • Vendor relationship management expertise.
  • Advanced academic degrees and/or relevant professional certifications.
