Role Overview
We seek a Platform Engineer II to join our Enterprise Operations team focused on scaling and supporting Mastercard's Generative AI and Copilot platform technologies. This position will contribute to the engineering, maintenance, governance, and dissemination of services such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and associated AI platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and uphold solutions enabling enterprise AI and Copilot initiatives.
- Work on platform integrations, automation workflows, and reusable engineering components.
- Assist in creating MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, connectors, and proof-of-concept projects.
- Adhere to engineering best practices concerning security, reliability, testing, and operational readiness.
- Provide support to internal developers using Copilot Studio and Microsoft AI tools.
- Resolve platform-related issues, guide users technically, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance developer experience and platform stability.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, implementation guides, and troubleshooting resources.
- Keep knowledge bases updated, accessible, and geared toward reducing redundant support queries.
- Deliver training sessions, demos, and create educational content to boost developer adoption of platform features.
- Facilitate internal developer communities and engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical background.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in platform engineering, software engineering, automation, or related technical areas.
- Proficient with cloud platforms, APIs, automation, and application integrations.
- Skilled in troubleshooting technical problems and supporting development teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to rapidly acquire new technical skills and collaborate effectively in team environments.
- Preferred experience includes Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure AI, Generative AI technologies, DevOps methodologies (CI/CD pipelines, automated testing), and creating developer enablement material.
Success Criteria
- Elevate developer experiences building AI and Copilot-based solutions.
- Create reusable engineering components that facilitate wider platform adoption.
- Maintain accurate and high-quality documentation and support content.
- Scale AI capabilities through enhanced training, automation, and self-service initiatives.
- Ensure secure and dependable operation of enterprise AI platforms in line with Mastercard security policies.
Corporate Security Responsibilities

- Report any suspected security breaches promptly.
- Complete all mandatory security training as required.
Minimum education
Bachelor's Degree
