Role Overview
We seek a detail-oriented and motivated Plate Maker to join our Bury facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing photopolymer printing plates, meeting exact client specifications with accuracy and promptness. This role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to learn and develop technical skills.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze job ticket instructions to determine production priorities and requirements.
- Precisely manufacture printing plates following customer guidelines and deadlines.
- Learn and proficiently operate platemaking machinery including CDI, exposure units, washout equipment, dryers, and post-exposure apparatus.
- Adhere to quality control procedures to maintain high production standards.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience with photopolymer plate production is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Possess strong mechanical skills and the ability to interpret measurements.
- Basic familiarity with computers and ability to understand job instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a collaborative mindset.
- Self-driven, attentive to detail, and capable of resolving problems effectively.
