Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position located in Hosur entails managing plastic injection molding machines to fabricate mechanical parts in line with specified standards. Core responsibilities include setting up machines, operating and closely monitoring equipment, and ensuring steady production throughput. Additional duties cover material loading, machine parameter adjustments, basic troubleshooting, and rigorous quality inspections of components for defects and dimensional accuracy. The operator will also undertake preventive maintenance routines, uphold cleanliness and safety around machinery, maintain production documentation, and coordinate with supervisors and quality control teams to achieve production goals.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating machinery: adjusting settings, monitoring operational performance, and resolving simple issues.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes including molding cycles, material characteristics, and quality criteria for parts.
• Experience with quality control methods such as visual inspections, dimensional verification, and compliance with documented quality standards.
• Skill in performing preventive maintenance tasks including routine checks and minor repairs, with prompt reporting of mechanical problems.
• Prior exposure to plastic injection molding or related manufacturing environments is advantageous, alongside familiarity with safety protocols, the ability to interpret basic technical drawings, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to work shift hours, endure prolonged standing, strictly follow standard operating procedures, and collaborate effectively with production and quality assurance teams.
• Preferred educational credentials include technical or manufacturing-related qualifications (ITI or diploma), although equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.
