Role Overview and Duties
We seek a dependable and proficient Plasterer based in Grangemouth who values meticulous workmanship and maintains clean work sites. This role demands the ability to consistently produce flawless plaster finishes while working under tight schedules, coupled with excellent customer service skills.
- Perform various plastering tasks inside occupied residential properties.
- Complete patch repairs on existing plaster surfaces and install new plasterboard.
- Apply bonding coats and finish plaster at exceptional standards.
- Carry out skim coating and finishing as required.
- Ensure all tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and meet quality benchmarks.
- Keep work areas neat and tidy within customers' homes.
- Provide outstanding customer service during interactions within occupied properties.
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable experience as a Plasterer, ideally in domestic housing settings.
- Expertise in all plastering aspects including patch repairs, bonding, skimming, and finishing.
- Strong attention to detail to achieve superior finishing quality.
- Good knowledge of health and safety protocols and adherence to safe work practices.
- Excellent customer communication skills with a professional approach.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage workloads.
- Possession of a full UK driving licence.
- A CSCS card is preferable.
- Relevant plastering qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent are desirable.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay of £18.50.
- Annual earnings around £32,000 including excellent on-target earnings.
