Job Role Overview
As a Fixed Plant and Heavy Mobile Equipment Operator, your primary responsibility will be operating plant machinery, while also engaging in varied tasks alongside a supportive team to ensure the site runs safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate fixed plant machinery and heavy mobile equipment.
- Load road trucks with finished goods.
- Manage incoming materials and stock movements.
- Load materials for mobile processing equipment.
- Drive haul trucks for on-site material transportation.
- Collaborate closely with the Site Manager, Supervisor, and team members.
- Assist with routine site maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Uphold stringent safety and environmental protocols.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience operating either fixed plant machinery or heavy mobile equipment.
- Background in quarrying, recycling, crushing, screening, or blending operations is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety practices and teamwork.
- A motivated, positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Enjoyment of practical work and ability to thrive in a team setting.
