About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Plant HR Executive to oversee the human resource functions within our manufacturing and food processing facility located in Coimbatore. This role involves managing day-to-day HR operations ensuring smooth workforce management and compliance adherence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee HR operations and foster positive employee relations specific to the plant environment.
- Administer daily attendance tracking, shift scheduling, leave management, overtime, and absence monitoring.
- Conduct recruitment processes fulfilling manpower demands for workers, operators, technicians, and other staff positions.
- Manage employee onboarding including joining formalities, induction sessions, and proper documentation maintenance.
- Address employee inquiries, resolve grievances, enforce discipline, and mediate workplace issues effectively.
- Liaise with payroll and accounts departments for timely and accurate salary disbursement each month.
- Maintain comprehensive employee records, generate HR reports, and organize personnel files systematically.
- Ensure statutory and legal compliance related to PF, ESI, labor laws, and prepare associated documentation.
- Coordinate with contract labor agencies and manage contract workforce administration.
- Support initiatives enhancing employee welfare and engagement.
- Collaborate with department heads in workforce planning and HR requirement assessments.
- Assist in audits, inspections, training execution, and other human resource projects.
- Handle plant administration responsibilities including canteen, transport, housekeeping, security services, uniform distribution, and other employee amenities.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with preference for MBA, PGDM, MSW, or MHRM in Human Resources or related fields.
- Between 2 to 5 years of experience in HR roles specific to plant or manufacturing environments.
- Prior exposure to managing workmen and contract labor is highly desirable.
- Sound understanding of attendance systems, payroll processes, statutory requirements such as PF and ESI, and relevant labor laws.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective employee and departmental interactions.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and HR Management Systems (HRMS).
- Capability to work independently while coordinating efficiently across multiple departments.
Additional Information
Immediate joining candidates will be preferred.
Salary
The monthly salary package ranges between ₹25,000 to ₹35,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
