Role Overview

The Plant Controller is a vital member of the plant leadership team responsible for providing robust financial guidance and overseeing all aspects of plant management. This role includes planning and coordinating budgeting and business planning activities in alignment with corporate guidelines while driving improvements in site performance through financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze plant operational and financial results, offering insightful feedback and variance analysis to management.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to assist decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with management to establish annual Operational Plans, Capital Expenditure plans, and a 5-year Market Business Strategy.
  • Provide accurate production estimates and standard costing to enhance forecast precision and guide corrective measures.
  • Develop and validate financial business cases to support investment decisions, such as capacity expansion and machinery innovations.
  • Ensure compliance with Etex Group’s internal control policies through timely execution, monitoring, and necessary updates based on emerging risks.
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting aligned with company accounting principles and act as a liaison between operational and finance teams.
  • Drive continuous improvements and simplification of financial tools, support the implementation of the new SAP-based ERP system, and contribute to related change initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with MS Office suite.
  • Strong command of SAP or similar ERP software within a manufacturing context.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Team-oriented mindset with cooperative working style.
  • Solid understanding of Standard Costing including calculations and variance analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing company and cost accounting are essential.
