Account Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled accountant to oversee all financial activities including fixed payments, variable expenses, bank deposits, and budgeting processes. This role demands a strong capability in auditing financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing tax calculations and submissions. The successful candidate will ensure precise financial documentation that reflects our company’s monetary status, liquidity, and cash flow, while maintaining compliance with relevant tax laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and process all financial transactions and bookkeeping activities.
• Develop and manage budget forecasts and publish timely financial statements.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate prompt payments to banks and calculate tax obligations including preparation of tax returns.
• Maintain balance sheets and profit and loss accounts.
• Analyze and report on the company’s fiscal health and liquidity.
• Audit financial transactions and maintain confidentiality of financial data while performing necessary database backups.
• Adhere to financial policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage sales logistics coordination and undertake office management duties including team leadership and organization of office activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Between one and two years of work experience as an accountant.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting standards and procedures, particularly GAAP.
• Practical experience with accounting software such as Odoo, FreshBooks, and QuickBooks.
• Proficient with advanced Microsoft Excel features including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Experienced in managing general ledger functions and financial document accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Additional professional credentials like CPA or CMA are advantageous.
