PKI Specialist

Role Overview

This position involves managing and supporting public key infrastructure (PKI) systems that cater to both internal and external organizational needs. The specialist will handle tasks associated with certificate management and be proficient with related lifecycle management tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the PKI environment by issuing, renewing, and deploying security certificates utilizing Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms.
• Configure and support tools such as Venafi and AppViewX, ensuring smooth certificate management operations.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of certificate lifecycle processes from issuance to renewal and revocation.
• Execute Linux command line operations required for the management of PKI systems.
• Engage effectively with customers, providing excellent communication and support regarding certificate management and infrastructure issues.
• Additional advantage if familiar with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and their integration within PKI setups.

Candidate Requirements

• Extensive experience in PKI, ranging from 4 to 15 years in relevant roles.
• Hands-on expertise with PKI and CLM tools, specifically AppViewX and Venafi.
• Solid command over Linux operating system commands and environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
