Job description

Role Overview

A full-time Physiotherapist position is available for on-site work in Doha, Qatar. The professional will assess physical conditions by reviewing patient histories and conducting thorough examinations to create personalized treatment plans. Daily duties include applying evidence-based therapeutic exercises, employing manual therapy, and overseeing rehabilitation procedures aimed at enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing injuries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out patient assessments and develop tailored treatment interventions.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques in rehabilitation programs.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and modify treatments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on home exercises, injury prevention, and lifestyle changes.
  • Uphold professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and safety standards consistently.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong competence in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and physiotherapy delivery including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
  • Application of clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to achieve rehabilitation outcomes and adapt care plans effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and multidisciplinary teamwork.
  • Expertise in accurate clinical documentation that complies with regulatory guidelines and infection control.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent from an accredited institution with a valid license or qualification to practice in Qatar.
  • Prior experience in musculoskeletal, orthopedic, sports, or neurological rehabilitation is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in Doha with flexibility in patient caseloads and scheduling.
  • Dedication to continual professional growth and keeping abreast of latest physiotherapy advancements and standards.
