Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for physicists to contribute to an AI training initiative by reviewing AI-generated physics responses. Your task will involve assessing the stepwise reasoning and problem-solving quality, providing expert feedback to improve the accuracy, logic, and clarity of AI model answers.
Main Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive physics prompts and responses to train and guide AI learning across diverse topics.
- Assess and rank AI-generated solutions to boost the model's correctness, fluency, and contextual accuracy.
- Identify inaccuracies, biases, or errors in AI models, ensuring their reliability for various applications.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Master’s or PhD in Physics or a related discipline from a top 100 university.
- Strong understanding of physical concepts including mechanics, electromagnetism, optics, thermodynamics/statistical mechanics, and systems modeling.
- Experience in developing or critically reviewing complex physics materials such as problem sets, proofs, textbook excerpts, or research notes.
- Skilled in verifying physics facts using public information sources across multiple domains.
- Ability to clearly communicate physics ideas and translate advanced theory to practical applications.
- Preferred background includes research, analytical writing, debate, programming, or relevant physics experience.
- Published author in a peer-reviewed scientific journal.
- Proficient in English at C1 level or higher with strong writing capabilities.
- Additional advantage for candidates with experience in data labeling, reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), or AI model evaluation.
