Role Overview
The company seeks a motivated quantum physicist well-versed in the advancing quantum technology landscape combined with a commercial mindset. This individual will spearhead technical elements of lasting client partnerships, offer market-informed insights for product direction, and thrive in outbound deep-tech engagements within a fast-paced, competitive environment. The Quantum Solution Physicist will influence the product roadmap significantly, manage technical aspects of key customers and prospects, and communicate the company's vision and value effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and deepen quantum computing scientific and technological expertise within a specialized domain, applying it to guide internal decision-making and roadmap formulation.
- Gain profound customer insight to prioritize and shape product development efforts according to client needs.
- Lead technological engagements with important client groups, establish and nurture relationships, and provide comprehensive technical plans to showcase value propositions to prospective customers.
- Create and optimize technical sales and marketing materials such as application notes and white papers to support go-to-market initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Physics or Electrical Engineering.
- Prior experience in experimental quantum computing is advantageous.
- Demonstrate strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent presentation abilities.
- Capable of building and sustaining professional relationships effectively.
- Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills, with a proactive, independent work ethic.
- Preparedness for regular travel to meet customers and prospects.
