Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Technician to join our team at Vijaya Diagnostic in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood and other biological specimens from patients accurately and safely, ensuring high standards of hygiene and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect blood and various biological samples from patients adhering strictly to established protocols.
• Follow correct phlebotomy procedures including proper order of draw to prevent sample contamination.
• Ensure accurate labeling, handling, storage, and transportation of all collected specimens to maintain integrity.
• Maintain hygiene standards, control infectious risks, and prioritize patient safety throughout procedures.
• Provide professional and courteous care to patients, facilitating a comfortable and efficient sample collection experience.
• Keep detailed records of collections and comply with laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Use vacutainers, needles, and other sample collection equipment appropriately and safely.
• Collaborate closely with laboratory personnel to guarantee timely and accurate sample processing.

Remuneration

The monthly salary for this position ranges from INR 15,000 to INR 30,000.
