Phlebotomist - Home Collection

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to perform blood sample collections and ECG tests at patients' residences. The role emphasizes safe sample collection using Vacutainers, precise documentation, and ensuring samples reach the laboratory promptly while upholding high hygiene and patient care standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes as per the schedule to collect blood samples.
• Perform blood draws utilizing Vacutainer and other necessary collection methods with accuracy and safety.
• Conduct ECG tests when requested.
• Label and barcode samples correctly and complete documentation thoroughly.
• Maintain cold chain protocols ensuring appropriate storage and timely transport of samples to the lab.
• Communicate test procedures and fasting instructions to patients as needed.

Eligibility and Experience

• Possess DMLT or MLT certification; B.Sc Nursing or GNM qualifications will also be considered.
• At least 6 months of hands-on experience in Vacutainer blood collection is mandatory.
• Experience with home-based collection is preferred.
• Must have access to a two-wheeler and hold a valid driving license.
• Willing to travel within the designated area.

Skills Required

• Expertise in performing Vacutainer blood collection techniques.
• Knowledge of proper sample handling, storage requirements, and cold chain maintenance.
• Good punctuality and effective time management skills.

Compensation and Work Details

• Guaranteed minimum collection of 185 samples per month at a rate of Rs.150 per sample.
• Working hours are from 6 AM to 2 PM on a full-time basis.
• Job location is Hyderabad.
