About the Role

We are seeking a skilled home collection phlebotomist to join our Field Operations team under Collection Operations. The position involves traveling to various locations to collect blood samples from patients and conducting rapid tests on collected specimens while ensuring specimen integrity through standardized aseptic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from customers and patients using venipuncture or finger-sticks.
• Ensure accurate patient identification by verifying identity documents.
• Maintain specimen quality by adhering to aseptic techniques and standard operating procedures.
• Perform necessary analyses on blood specimens with appropriate testing equipment.
• Prepare and package specimens correctly for transport, including precise labeling of vials and matching samples to patients.
• Maintain detailed records of patient names, volumes of blood drawn, and diagnostic results.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment used for drawing and testing blood specimens.
• Tag and collect specimens exactly as per medical requisitions and manage biomedical waste responsibly.

Candidate Profile

• One to ten years of experience in phlebotomy and related sample collection.
• Proficient in phlebotomy techniques with knowledge of testing protocols and biomedical waste management.
• Education credentials required: Diploma or Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT/MLT).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and basic computer literacy.
• Ability to provide superior patient service, respond to inquiries, and facilitate patient support within the medical facility.
• Must be willing to travel for home collection duties.
• Possession of a two-wheeler and a valid driving license is mandatory.

Additional Details

• Compensation: Up to ₹360,000 per annum plus ₹3.5 per kilometer traveled.
• Working hours: Rotational shifts from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
