Required Qualifications and Skills

• Competence in timely task completion and effective time management.
• An unwavering commitment to confidentiality and maintaining reviewer impartiality.
• Prior peer review experience for scholarly journals is highly advantageous.
• Acquaintance with online manuscript submission and peer review platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assess the originality and contribution of manuscripts to the field of materials science.
• Critically evaluate the research design and methodology to ensure appropriateness and reproducibility.
• Verify thoroughness and relevance of cited literature reflecting contemporary research.
• Analyze and judge the clarity of results presentation and whether conclusions are justified and impactful.
• Offer constructive feedback highlighting strengths, weaknesses, ethical issues, and suggest improvements.
• Assist editors by recommending acceptance, revision, or rejection decisions based on review findings.
