Key Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, dispense, and manage prescription medications for patients.
• Maintain sufficient stock levels of medications and over-the-counter supplements to meet patients' needs.
• Provide patients with clear, friendly, and proactive counseling regarding their medications.
• Engage in community outreach and education through public relations events such as health days and clinics.
• Resolve patient and healthcare provider inquiries and issues promptly with a positive approach.
• Monitor and control costs within the pharmacy dispensary to maintain budgetary compliance.
• Deliver ongoing training and support to pharmacy staff, including technicians, interns, students, and pharmacy graduates.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a valid Class A Pharmacist license are mandatory.
• Exceptional customer service skills combined with a high level of professionalism.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience in performance management.
• Proven track record of using community-based marketing strategies to grow business success.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Robust problem-solving skills with experience in developing and executing action plans.
• Proficiency with personal computing and familiarity with pharmacy systems like Healthwatch or KROLL is an asset.
