As a Pharmacist reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, you will accurately and promptly prepare, dispense, and deliver prescriptions while maintaining sufficient inventory to meet patient needs. Providing knowledgeable counselling with proper documentation and nurturing positive relationships with customers and healthcare providers are central to this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, dispense, and manage medications in a timely manner.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of medications and over-the-counter supplements to satisfy patient requirements.
• Provide friendly, informative patient counselling about new or additional medications.
• Promote public health awareness through outreach efforts like clinics and public health events.
• Manage patient and physician inquiries promptly, ensuring positive resolutions.
• Oversee and control costs within the dispensary operations.
• Offer ongoing training to pharmacy staff including technicians, interns, and students.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and valid Class A Pharmacist license are mandatory.
• Exceptional customer service capabilities combined with professionalism.
• Effective leadership and performance management skills.
• Successful experience in community-based marketing to enhance business development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound problem-solving aptitude with experience in implementing actionable plans.
• Proficient computer skills; familiarity with Healthwatch and/or KROLL pharmacy systems is advantageous.

Compensation: The hourly wage range is $44.00 to $60.60 CAD, with pay adjusted based on experience and location.
