Role Overview
The Performance Executive position based in Sydney involves managing the full campaign lifecycle for Paid Search and Paid Social channels. You will develop technical skills under mentorship from experienced specialists, gain early client account ownership, and engage in sophisticated strategic performance work. The role recently became available due to internal promotion, offering a valuable advancement opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning, launching, and management of performance marketing campaigns on Paid Search and Paid Social platforms.
- Configure campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Meta, including target audience selection, keyword research, ad creation, and bid management.
- Continuously monitor campaign performance, leveraging data to identify improvement potential and optimize outcomes.
- Analyze campaign metrics to extract actionable insights and prepare comprehensive reports, both scheduled and ad hoc.
- Collaborate closely with Performance Managers, Directors, and other specialists within the agency.
- Develop strong client relationships, progressively increasing responsibility and account management duties.
- Effectively manage multiple campaigns and deadlines ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Expand technical expertise across the broader digital landscape, including exposure to programmatic advertising.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Preferably 18 months or more experience in digital marketing, performance roles, or analytical positions, ideally within agencies or performance marketing settings.
- Practical experience in setting up and optimizing campaigns using Google Ads and/or Meta Ads Manager.
- Solid understanding of Paid Search and Paid Social platforms, with strong motivation to deepen knowledge in both areas.
- Analytical skills with a keen interest in uncovering drivers behind campaign performance.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet multiple project deadlines.
- Strong communication abilities and some experience interacting with clients or stakeholders.
- Experience with Google Analytics or other digital platforms is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A positive, proactive mindset with eagerness to learn and grow within a supportive team-oriented environment.
