Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert advice on Employee Relations matters including disciplinary actions, grievances, capability issues, probation reviews, absence management, and appeals.
  • Coach and mentor managers to enhance leadership skills, team engagement, and overall performance.
  • Lead effective performance management initiatives, particularly assisting managers in managing underperformance and improving attendance.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and smooth integration of Team and Colleague Managers.
  • Develop internal talent pipelines and ensure comprehensive succession planning in the region.
  • Analyze workforce data and trends to detect risks and opportunities, recommending improvements accordingly.

  • Promote self-service HR processes and maintain operational excellence in all HR activities.
  • Establish trusted relationships across the business, influencing and challenging constructively to achieve optimal results.
  • Support employee engagement efforts, people projects, and organizational change within the retail network.

Candidate Profile

  • At least 3 years of experience in a HR/People Partner or HR Manager capacity.
  • Proven expertise in Employee Relations, capable of confidently guiding managers through complex cases.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong coaching and influencing skills with the ability to offer constructive challenges.
  • Competent in leveraging people data and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Proactive, resilient, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and handle personal scheduling.
  • Holder of a full clean driving license and willing to travel throughout the Republic of Ireland.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary commensurate with experience.
  • Annual performance bonus scheme.
  • Employer-matched pension contribution.
  • Generous paid annual leave allowances.
