About the Role
The People & Development Executive plays a vital role in supporting human resources and employee development initiatives within the organization. This position involves overseeing various aspects such as recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, training programs, performance management, HR administration, and employee relations, all while adhering to company policies and relevant employment laws.
The role requires collaboration with both employees and managers to foster a positive and productive workplace environment in alignment with the company's goals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment tasks, coordinate new hire orientations, and implement comprehensive 30-60-90 day onboarding plans.
- Ensure precise onboarding documentation and support the integration process for new staff members.
- Provide new hires with necessary documentation, compliance information, and training resources.
- Identify employee training and development needs through interaction with management and staff.
- Organize both internal and external training sessions, workshops, and professional development activities.
- Keep detailed records of training participation and completion rates.
- Assist in career development and succession planning initiatives.
- Assess training program effectiveness and collect employee feedback.
- Facilitate employee engagement activities, including surveys and related initiatives.
- Serve as a contact point for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, development, and workplace concerns.
- Support employee relations while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism.
- Encourage a supportive, inclusive, and cooperative organizational culture.
- Oversee annual and periodic performance appraisal processes.
- Assist managers and staff with setting goals and conducting performance reviews.
- Maintain and track performance management documentation and follow up on development plans.
- Preserve accurate and confidential employee records and maintain HR databases.
- Prepare HR-related reports, contracts, letters, and necessary documentation.
- Coordinate attendance monitoring, leave schedules, and employee data jointly with other departments.
- Contribute to the improvement of HR policies, procedures, and processes.
- Ensure compliance of HR documents and procedures with company standards and labor laws.
- Participate in HR projects and organizational development efforts.
- Produce regular HR metrics and reports for management review.
- Assist with employee communications and internal HR announcements.
- Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information rigorously.
- Perform any additional HR duties or projects assigned by leadership.
Qualifications and Experience
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in HR, talent development, people operations, or related fields.
- Proven ability to design, coordinate, and execute training and development initiatives.
- Strong familiarity with recruitment workflows, talent acquisition strategies, and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience with performance management systems, employee engagement activities, and developmental programming.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage stakeholders across all levels.
- Highly organized with strong coordination skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Competence in HR data analytics, report generation, and compiling insights on workforce metrics.
- Comprehensive understanding of UAE Labor Law, employment regulations, and adherence to compliance.
- Proficiency in using HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Forbes training programs, service standards, and compliance monitoring.
- Deep understanding of employee learning, engagement, development, and organizational culture dynamics.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, and ethical integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field preferred.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Skills in coaching and facilitation.
- Project management experience.
- Knowledge of contemporary talent management practices and industry trends.
- Background working within multicultural or multinational environments.
