Role Overview

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team at our Dublin Head Office. The successful candidate will handle payroll processing for over 28,000 employees across 20 markets. This role is ideal for proactive individuals eager to advance in a leading global company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete payroll cycle for multiple countries within the EMEA region.
  • Facilitate and support integrations between HR and global payroll systems, addressing inconsistencies as they arise.
  • Update payroll records reflecting salary changes prompted by internal staff movements, verifying critical information such as tax and bank details of new hires.
  • Prepare monthly payroll journals for accounting purposes.
  • Contribute to ongoing expansion initiatives and execute ad-hoc reporting duties as required.
  • Test new configurations, system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations impacting global payroll processes.
  • Generate and process spreadsheets for variable compensation and deductions.
  • Load bulk payroll data via spreadsheet uploads.
  • Support internal control protocols, including documentation and process testing.
  • Prepare payments for third parties related to payroll functions.
  • Participate actively in various payroll-related projects and other assigned opportunities.

Candidate Requirements

  • At least two years of payroll experience.
  • Possession of an IPass qualification or an equivalent credential.
  • Experience with SAP and Employee Central Payroll is highly advantageous.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, particularly with Excel.
  • Methodical and efficient work approach emphasizing accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to meet deadlines consistently, demonstrate interpersonal skills, and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Adaptable work style with flexibility to respond to varying workload demands promptly and effectively.
  • Willingness to work outside standard office hours when necessary.
