About Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance (PAM) Ireland Ltd

Located in Shannon, County Clare, PAM Ireland is Ryanair's inaugural heavy maintenance facility in Ireland, established in May 2022. The company supports the upkeep of Ryanair's expanding Boeing 737 NG and MAX fleet within a three-bay hangar. The workshop employs a team of highly skilled engineers, mechanics, and support personnel.

Role Summary

We have an opening for a Store Person (Shipping) at our Shannon site. The position operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, you will become part of a proficient team responsible for safely maintaining a fleet exceeding 600 aircraft for one of the globe's largest airlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft components and tools for shipment by air and road to various network locations, including items classified as Dangerous Goods.
• Package unserviceable parts and tools for delivery to approved vendors for repair and recertification.
• Generate Repair Orders for unserviceable items when required.
• Ensure all shipments include accurate documentation and necessary customs clearance.
• Physically move consignments to and from aircraft on the airport apron.
• Coordinate road transport for consignments as needed.
• Assist the broader stores team with daily operational tasks when necessary.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Prior experience working in a warehouse or store environment.
• Preferably experienced in forklift operation.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with AMOS or similar inventory management software is advantageous.
• Understanding of quality control processes is preferred.
• Experience within the aviation sector is a plus.
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods handling and cycle counting is beneficial.
• Possession of a full clean Category B driving license is mandatory.
