About the Role
We are seeking a Payroll Specialist for a well-established company in the Frankfurt area. This is a permanent full-time position offering the chance to independently manage a defined group of employees while being part of a skilled payroll team. The role provides clear structures and a professional work environment.
Work Conditions
- Salary range: approximately 56000 to 62000 EUR gross per year
- Full-time working hours
- Opportunity to work from home 1-2 days per week
- Office located in the Frankfurt region
- Permanent employment contract
Key Responsibilities
- Independently handle monthly payroll processing for assigned employees
- Maintain and verify payroll-relevant employee master data
- Process variable remuneration components and data from time management systems
- Factor in bonuses, special payments, and absences
- Manage reporting and certification processes
- Act as a contact for employees and managers regarding payroll inquiries
- Communicate with health insurance companies, authorities, and social security providers
- Address matters such as company pension schemes, garnishments, and other special cases
- Support internal and external audits
- Implement legal changes related to payroll tax and social security contributions
- Participate in improving existing payroll procedures
Candidate Profile
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in payroll administration
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax and social security regulations
- Experience using common payroll software systems
- Familiarity with time management processes
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent command of the German language
- Meticulous, organized, and dependable work style
- Strong sense of responsibility and discretion when handling sensitive information
