Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Specialist based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to manage comprehensive payroll functions. This role involves ensuring accurate salary payments, adherence to statutory requirements, and executing employee compensation and benefits in compliance with local laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly payroll processing, including base salaries, overtime, allowances, and authorized deductions.
- Calculate final settlements, encashment of annual leaves, end-of-service benefits, and GOSI contributions.
- Collaborate with HR teams to verify time, attendance, and leave records prior to finalizing payroll.
- Maintain updated and accurate employee financial records and compensation details within payroll and HRMS systems.
- Process salary changes such as revisions, promotions, and status updates accurately.
- Handle employee advances, loan deductions, and other necessary salary modifications.
- Perform pre-payroll reconciliations to ensure data accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Create detailed payroll reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI to provide insights to leadership.
- Maintain complete payroll documentation to support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law, Wage Protection System (WPS), and corporate policies.
- Respond promptly and professionally to employee payroll inquiries and resolve related issues.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 2 years of practical experience in payroll operations or compensation management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law, General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), and Wage Protection System (WPS) rules.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for financial analysis and visualization.
- Experience working with HRMS and payroll management software platforms.
- Excellent numerical aptitude, analytical capabilities, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
