Role Overview

Situated in our Kilkenny office with a hybrid work model, the UK Payroll Processor manages end-to-end payroll operations for a portfolio of UK client accounts using our payroll software platform. This role involves full payroll processing, data validation, liaising with Implementation teams, and routinely updating the Payroll Manager on project progress, risks, and issue escalations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute comprehensive payroll processing from start to finish for assigned clients.
  • Collect and verify all necessary data for the successful onboarding and management of new client payrolls through UKG's payroll software.
  • Collaborate with the Implementation team to ensure smooth payroll system setups.
  • Provide regular updates and escalate any risks or issues to the Payroll Manager promptly.
  • Conduct monthly payroll runs including HMRC submissions, net pay processing, and HMRC payments.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of one year experience in payroll, accounts, or finance functions.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze data quickly and draw accurate conclusions.
  • Excellent client engagement skills with confidence to build relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient communication, presentation, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated, professional attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a flexible and pragmatic team.
  • A university degree in a related discipline is beneficial but not mandatory.

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate; payroll experience is advantageous but not essential.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role is €37,500 to €50,650 annually, subject to variation based on qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, employees may participate in a performance-based bonus program and receive restricted stock units as part of total remuneration. UKG provides comprehensive benefits and reward packages.
