About the Role
We are seeking a skilled payroll officer to join a well-established company located in Doncaster city centre. This role is available on either a part-time or full-time basis and involves comprehensive management of multiple payroll cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage several weekly, monthly, and four-weekly payrolls from beginning to end.
- Address and resolve any payroll-related inquiries efficiently.
- Calculate and administer payments for variable and overtime hours accurately.
- Ensure strict adherence to statutory regulations, such as tax deductions and pension contributions.
- Maintain precise payroll records and necessary documentation.
- Handle weekly and monthly auto-enrolment pension payments to designated providers.
- Generate and submit detailed payroll reports.
- Stay updated on payroll legislation changes and implement required adjustments promptly.
- Work collaboratively with team members to guarantee smooth payroll operations.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable experience in payroll processing.
- Proficient with Sage Payroll software.
- Residence within a commutable distance to Doncaster is essential.
