Role Overview
This position focuses on leading the optimization and stabilization of a complex payroll system implementation using ADP. The Payroll Analyst will troubleshoot payroll system challenges, manage payroll operations across multiple programs with diverse pay structures, and ensure tax compliance and accurate year-end reporting.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive efforts to enhance and stabilize ongoing ADP payroll software implementation.
- Identify and resolve issues related to payroll processing, reporting difficulties, and manual interventions.
- Oversee payroll execution in a multifaceted setting featuring various pay scales and overtime regulations.
- Verify adherence to payroll tax laws, and manage annual reporting along with W-2 distribution processes.
- Suggest and apply improvements to payroll procedures to boost accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to evaluate payroll functions and assist in scaling organizational payroll processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience handling payroll in complex, multi-state or multi-entity scenarios.
- Expertise in ADP Workforce Now platform is mandatory.
- Background in payroll system rollouts, optimization projects, or process enhancement activities.
- Thorough understanding of payroll tax rules, reporting necessities, and year-end payroll processing.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude to identify issues and streamline workflows.
- Familiarity with Sage payroll software is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational, analytical capabilities and communication skills are essential.
