Overview
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join a growing organisation located in Kilkenny. This full-time, permanent position offers a hybrid working arrangement and a competitive salary package based on experience along with excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete payroll process for multiple payrolls, ensuring strict adherence to accuracy, compliance, and deadline requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of payroll professionals to maintain efficient operations.
- Serve as the primary escalation contact for complex payroll issues and inquiries.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients and internal departments.
- Ensure payroll activities comply with Irish legislation, including PAYE, PRSI, and Revenue requirements.
- Produce payroll reports and reconciliations, and assist with audit preparations.
- Promote continuous improvement by driving automation and enhancing payroll systems and processes.
- Participate in payroll-related projects such as system implementation and upgrades.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years comprehensive payroll experience.
- Preferably experienced in a payroll bureau, outsourced payroll provider, or professional services environment.
- Prior experience managing or supervising a payroll team is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and Revenue practices.
- IPASS certification or progress towards this qualification is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills along with proven stakeholder management abilities.
