Role Overview
As a Payroll Associate, you will manage a client portfolio with duties including client setup, coordination, and billing. You will handle monthly payroll operations, ensuring timely payments to employees and related third parties. Responsibilities also include managing employee engagement processes, such as new hires and terminations, and preparing necessary forms and documentation. You will register new companies and employees with local authorities including the IRD and Jobsplus, manage employment terminations formally, and assist clients with payroll-related inquiries. Internal coordination to assess client needs and other related tasks form part of your role.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in payroll.
- Familiarity with the Shireburn Indigo payroll platform is expected.
- Completion of payroll courses will be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and well-developed organizational abilities.
