About the Role

Join Cygnet as a Payroll Administrator based in Kings Hill, West Malling. This full-time position offers a 37.5-hour workweek with a hybrid schedule requiring two days onsite at the Kings Hill office. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing including onboarding starters, handling leavers, and updating contractual or personal details.
  • Process statutory payments as well as pension adjustments such as opt-ins, opt-outs, and employee requests.
  • Administer salary sacrifice schemes, ensuring compliance with National Living Wage (NLW) standards.
  • Calculate pay for hours worked, allowances, bonuses, and other business-requested payments.
  • Deduct payments accurately in line with regulations, monitor payroll cycles for any NLW breaches.
  • Review payroll data to identify discrepancies or inefficiencies and report overpayments or underpayments with appropriate evidence to the Payroll Manager.
  • Obtain necessary authorizations for payroll processing locally and handle supplementary and manual payment runs properly.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adapt to changing needs.
  • Skilled in information gathering, monitoring, problem analysis, and resolution.
