Role Overview
LogicMonitor® is an AI-first hybrid observability platform delivering comprehensive insight and actionable intelligence across on-premises, cloud, and edge environments. Helping IT and business leaders make proactive, data-driven decisions, it supports innovation and exceptional digital experiences. The Partner Development Manager, MSP, plays a crucial role in scaling and maintaining our Managed Service Provider ecosystem by building foundational partner management and sales skills. This role involves supporting strategic MSP partnerships, contributing to new partner sourcing, and assisting with revenue expansion and renewals within a targeted coverage model.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to a portfolio of MSP partners.
- Assist with sales expansion and renewal processes including deal preparation, pricing, and follow-up.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of pipeline, activities, and opportunities in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering and other departments to drive partner engagements and deal closures.
- Engage in prospecting initiatives to identify and reach potential MSP partners through outbound campaigns and coordinated efforts with business development representatives.
- Qualify and nurture inbound and outbound sales opportunities, managing them through early stages of sales cycles.
- Coordinate discovery meetings, demonstrations, and follow-up actions to support complete sales processes.
- Develop relationships with MSP partners by gaining a deep understanding of their business models and growth goals.
- Facilitate partner onboarding and adoption of LogicMonitor solutions through enablement, dashboards, reporting, and regular communication focused on value delivery.
- Observe and analyze partner engagement signals, alerting senior staff about potential risks or opportunities.
- Learn and implement LogicMonitor’s sales methodology covering acquisition, expansion, and renewals.
- Build skills in discovery, value-based selling, forecasting, and stakeholder management through ongoing training and coaching.
Qualifications
- Minimum six years of experience in sales, partner management, business development, or customer-facing roles.
- Strong interest in SaaS, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and technology-based business strategies.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills adaptable for both technical and business audiences.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, particularly in CRM management, forecasting accuracy, and follow-through tasks.
- Open to coaching and eager to advance toward a closing sales function.
- Proven collaborative team player with dedication to collective achievement.
- Experience leveraging AI technologies to improve productivity, creativity, or problem-solving.
