Part 145 Maintenance Planner

Overview

Flexjet invites applications for the role of Part 145 Maintenance Planner, located at our headquarters in Farnborough. This position is integral to the upkeep and airworthiness assurance of one of the leading luxury private aviation fleets globally, ensuring superior reliability, safety, and customer service standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule both planned and unplanned aircraft maintenance in line with customer needs, operational priorities, and regulatory standards.
• Formulate and maintain comprehensive maintenance plans, securing availability of labor, tools, materials, and documentation to support maintenance tasks.
• Prepare, assess, and oversee the accuracy and completeness of maintenance work packs prior to aircraft arrival and release, ensuring full compliance.
• Track maintenance activities, anticipate delays, and revise plans to maximize aircraft availability and reduce downtime.
• Serve as the main liaison for clients and internal teams, providing timely updates on maintenance progress, discoveries, and adjustments to scheduling.
• Manage relationships and coordination with third-party maintenance providers to guarantee service delivery aligns with operational needs.
• Maintain detailed records of planning, schedules, resource allocations, and documentation within company systems.
• Assist with operational reports, monitoring key performance indicators, cost tracking for maintenance, and initiatives for continuous process improvement to enhance planning efficiency.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrable experience in aircraft maintenance planning or operations, including heavy or base maintenance planning within a Part-145 regulatory framework.
• In-depth understanding of EASA and/or UK CAA Part-145 regulatory requirements, including maintenance documentation management and airworthiness assurance.
• Familiarity with MRO, ERP, and aircraft maintenance software platforms such as CAMP, Traxxall, AMOS, Rusada, or Quantum.
• Exceptional organizational abilities, scheduling expertise, resource coordination, and problem-solving skills capable of managing multiple maintenance projects in a demanding environment.
• Strong communication capabilities and aptitude in stakeholder engagement, facilitating effective partnerships with customers, engineering divisions, production units, suppliers, CAMO bodies, and leadership teams.
