Parcelforce Collection & Delivery Driver

About the Role

Join Parcelforce Worldwide as a Collection & Delivery Driver based in Basingstoke, delivering parcels efficiently to homes and businesses. This permanent position offers a standard 38-hour workweek from Monday, Wednesday to Saturday, 07:30 to 17:30, with opportunities for overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort parcels and organize effective delivery routes.
• Conduct essential safety checks on delivery vehicles.
• Collect and deliver packages reliably to various customers.
• Maintain friendly, dependable customer service for every delivery.

Requirements

• Possession of a full UK manual driving licence (Category B, up to 3.5 tonnes) registered at your current address, with no more than six penalty points.
• Physical capability to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg.
• Demonstrate a customer-centered, trustworthy, and reliable disposition.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Interest in a stable, long-term career with a growing organization.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting salary of £25,201 annually (£12.71/hour), rising to £27,561 after 6 months (£13.94/hour).
• Potential to earn up to £30,000 annually including overtime based on a 38-hour week.
• Weekend premium pay: additional £4.39/hour on Saturdays and £6.58/hour on Sundays for contracted hours.
• Paid overtime on weekdays and weekends.
• Extra monthly non-pensionable pay of £903.84 per year and weekly driving allowance of £26.73.
