About the Role

Join Parcelforce Worldwide as a Collection & Delivery Driver based at our Gatwick depot in Crawley, delivering parcels with speed and care. This permanent position involves working 38 hours per week across various shift schedules, including Tuesday to Saturday, Wednesday to Sunday, and Monday, Wednesday to Saturday shifts which will be confirmed during the interview phase. You will be part of a team committed to providing friendly and reliable service, ensuring timely parcel delivery whether they are personal gifts or critical business items.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting salary at £25,201 annually (£12.71 per hour)
• After six months, salary increases to £27,561 per year (£13.94 per hour)
• Potential to earn up to £30,000 yearly based on a 38-hour week plus overtime
• Weekend premiums available: £4.39 per hour on Saturdays and £6.58 per hour on Sundays for contracted hours
• Paid overtime on weekdays and weekends
• Additional monthly non-pensionable pay (£903.84 annually)
• Weekly driving allowance of £26.73

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately sorting parcels and organizing efficient delivery routes
• Conducting vehicle safety inspections prior to delivery runs
• Collecting parcels and delivering them directly to homes and businesses
• Providing a dependable and courteous service to all customers

Candidate Requirements

• Valid UK full manual driving license (Category B for vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes) linked to your current address, with six or fewer penalty points
• Physically capable of lifting parcels weighing up to 30 kilograms
• Friendly and reliable with a strong customer service focus
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team
