Overview
Join Royal Mail as a Parcel Delivery Driver based at Crawley Delivery Office (RH10 1AA) on a permanent contract. This full-time role involves working 37 hours weekly, spread over five days from Monday to Sunday, typically between 10:20 and 19:00. Weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday are required as per a local rota due to operational needs.
Role Responsibilities
As part of a multi drop driver team, you will be responsible for prepping your delivery van and workload each day, using route-planning technology to ensure parcels reach customers accurately and promptly. Your work is vital in brightening customers' days by delivering far more than just parcels — you deliver an exceptional experience. Secure and handle all items en route, including election materials and specified products like food and alcohol, abiding by Royal Mail’s business standards.
Candidate Profile
- Positive, self-driven individual capable of working independently
- Well-organised and punctual with proactive initiative
- Dedicated to providing excellent customer service
- Comfortable engaging with customers as a brand ambassador
- Willing to work afternoon and early evening shifts
- Enjoys a multi drop delivery role across the assigned area throughout the week
- Holds a valid full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points

Roles with 35-37 weekly hours are considered full-time, while those below 37 hours are part-time on contract.
