Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The position involves surface preparation, application of paint coatings, and cleanup duties ensuring a professional finish to various surfaces at residential properties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by removing dust and debris, filling minor cracks and holes, sanding, and priming as necessary.
• Protect floors, fixtures, and non-painted areas by covering or taping them appropriately.
• Remove or tape over light switch and outlet covers to prevent paint contact.
• Apply paints evenly using brushes, rollers, and occasional spray techniques.
• Utilize ladders correctly and safely following manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure work areas are sufficiently ventilated during painting tasks.
• Conduct thorough cleanup by removing protective materials, cleaning up any paint spills on non-painted surfaces, and leaving the site debris-free.
• Perform other assigned tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
