Key Responsibilities

• Follow The Home Depot’s GET Model: greet, engage, and thank each customer warmly.
• Proactively approach customers throughout the store to identify needs and guide them to appropriate products across departments.
• Ask insightful, open-ended questions to understand customers’ project details and expertise levels.
• Promote additional services like Special Services, Tool Rental, Pro Desk, and Pro Services to enhance the customer experience.
• Discuss product options ranging from basic to premium (good, better, best) and recommend complementary items or services that clients might require.
• Educate customers on full project scope and encourage sales through empowered decision-making.
• Maintain daily stock presentation by ensuring products are signed, displayed neatly, and clean.
• Continuously update product knowledge within your department and adjacent areas.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and Loss Prevention policies to maintain a safe shopping environment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• One to two years of retail or trade experience is considered an asset.
• Physical capability to perform tasks involving bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving merchandise.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.

Work Environment and Additional Details

• Workplace includes a warehouse environment subject to dust, noise, drafts, and fluctuating interior temperatures due to frequent opening doors.
• No travel is required for this role.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is from $18.60 to $19.60 per hour.
