Lot Associate - Full Time (Halifax)

About The Role

Join The Home Depot Canada in Halifax as a Lot Associate, where your main duty will be to assist customers by loading their orders into vehicles and ensuring the parking lot area remains safe and inviting. This position emphasizes excellent customer service guided by the company's GET model, making you often the first and last point of contact for customers.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service by greeting, engaging, and thanking customers according to Home Depot’s GET customer service model.
• Keep a steady supply of shopping carts near the store entrance for customer convenience.
• Engage customers with open-ended questions about their projects to understand their needs and expertise.
• Offer assistance in loading products into vehicles and carts as required.
• Strategically plan and implement safe loading and securing of merchandise in customer vehicles following Safe Loading Training guidelines.

Safety and Security

• Ensure all exits and loading areas remain clear and free from clutter.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping debris from front apron and lumber loading zones.
• Adhere strictly to all Safety and Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment using proper safety protocols.
