Job Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by eliminating grease, dirt, paint, or rust using tools such as abrasives, solvents, brushes, blowtorches, washing tanks, or sandblasters to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Support the painting team by assisting in pre-paint blending procedures.
- Collaborate with paint technicians to maintain progress and ensure timely delivery of vehicles.
- Repair minor dents and scratches by applying body fillers and smoothing surfaces to ready vehicles for painting.
- Perform finishing tasks such as buffing and waxing painted surfaces.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble spraying equipment and power tools employing solvents, wire brushes, and cloths to maintain operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Previous experience related to vehicle paint preparation is required.
- Holding I-CAR certifications is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to comprehend instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Capability to pass a comprehensive background screening.

Compensation
The role offers a competitive commission and flag pay structure. Flag pay ensures a minimum wage guarantee based on local requirements for all hours worked weekly. Typical full-time annual compensation ranges from USD 43,120 to USD 100,000. Actual pay depends on job knowledge, skills, relevant experience, and certifications. The company reserves the right to adjust compensation and benefits as needed in compliance with legal guidelines.
