Packaging Machine Operator

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Packaging Machine Operator to manage filling and packaging activities on our production lines for Silicone, Hybrid, and Polyurethane chemicals and sealants. The position involves operating and maintaining automated or semi-automated machinery, troubleshooting production issues, and working with computerized interfaces for production tracking.

Key Duties

• Prepare, calibrate, and operate automated or semi-automated filling and packaging equipment designed for sealants and viscous chemical substances.
• Promptly identify and resolve mechanical, pneumatic, and operational challenges to reduce production downtime.
• Operate and program human-machine interfaces (HMIs) or programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for settings such as fill volumes, batch processing, and production monitoring.
• Ensure high quality standards in packaging, including seal integrity, accurate weights, labeling, and batch coding consistency.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and maintain updated operational records through software systems.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in running packaging or filling machinery within the chemical or sealant manufacturing sector.
• Strong mechanical and technical problem-solving capabilities.
• Comfortable with basic computing and computerized machinery systems or interfaces.
• Familiarity with handling viscous materials such as silicones, polyurethanes, and hybrids, as well as cartridge or sausage filling machines, is highly preferable.
