Job Summary
The package driver position involves transporting packages to and from residential and commercial locations. The role is physically active, requiring driving and handling packages frequently through lifting, lowering, and carrying. Safety in transportation and exceptional customer service are top priorities.
Responsibilities
- Learn and implement UPS safe driving techniques effectively.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Capability to lift packages weighing up to 32 kilograms (70 pounds).
- Adherence to UPS appearance and grooming standards.
- Strong customer interaction skills coupled with proficient driving abilities.
- Meet local age criteria and operational standards necessary to operate company vehicles.
- Availability to work five days a week.
