Job Summary
This position focuses on the physical handling of packages, including loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking. The role may require operating heavy equipment to perform various related duties and involves working in a dynamic and fast-moving setting.
Responsibilities
- Master and correctly apply UPS package handling procedures.
- Load and unload packages into trailers or delivery vehicles efficiently and safely.
Qualifications
- Must have the capability to lift weights up to 70 pounds (32 kilograms).
- Ability to read, memorize, and accurately recall postal codes.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including up to five days weekly.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
