Job description
Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Retail Manager for Fishing Marine in Canada, the Task Team Outfitter is tasked with implementing visual merchandising strategies, including planograms and promotional setups, on the sales floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Support visual merchandising in designated areas through activities like replacing fixtures, updating signage and end caps, relocating floor displays, dressing mannequins, and preparing merchandise for advertisements.
- Execute department resets as assigned.
- Assist in merchandise purging tasks as needed.
- Perform replenishment duties across various departments, including filling shelves, folding and repackaging products, sorting, facing items, hanging merchandise, and locating stock.
- Provide assistance to customers on the sales floor by helping them find products and make purchasing choices during store hours.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Preferred minimum of two years’ merchandising experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
- Combination of education and experience is acceptable; candidates with at least six months merchandising experience will be prioritized.
- Strong attention to detail to maintain accuracy.
- Good judgment and logical thinking skills.
- Experience in related fields or familiarity with an outdoor lifestyle is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s products is a plus.
