Overnight Task Team Member - Full Time

Role Overview

Under the direction of the Overnight Supervisor, the Overnight Task Team member plays a key role in enhancing store operations by alleviating non-selling tasks from Sales Outfitters. This support allows Sales Outfitters to concentrate on delivering exceptional customer service and sales.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform general stock replenishment duties across departments such as Fishing, Hunting, Camping, Marine/Water Sports, Apparel, Footwear, Hunt Clothing, and Gifts.
• Assist inventory management by working with Inventory Control to conduct on-demand counts, empty peg scans, and ensure display integrity.
• Execute price changes, both temporary and permanent, including tagging, signage, and verifying inventory adjustments.
• Carry out recovery tasks including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing, and re-hanging merchandise to maintain store presentation.
• Support visual merchandising efforts in assigned areas by replacing fixtures, updating signage and end caps, adhering to visual merchandising directives, managing floor moves, dressing mannequins, preparing merchandise for advertisements, and conducting department resets as needed.
• Help maintain and execute planograms throughout hardline departments.
• Provide assistance with OMNI order fulfillment during busier periods.
• Deliver outstanding customer service ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Complete additional duties assigned by management.

Candidate Qualifications

• A minimum of one year experience in a sales or customer service environment is preferred.
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Familiarity with planograms and visual merchandising techniques is advantageous.
• Capability to identify and restock depleted inventory.
• Availability to work overnight shifts is required.
• Strong commitment to superior customer service delivery.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and logical decision-making.
• Experience related to outdoor lifestyle fields is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s products is considered an asset.
